but we can live without willfully sinning

So what do you tell the gay peoples claiming to be Christians who claim homosexuality is not a sin when God's Word clearly teaches it is sinful behavior?

Those holding to OSAS doctrine must agree that one can be gay and be a Christian which is what Charles Stanley taught who was considered to be the leading authority on eternal security doctrine.

Here's a video where you can hear him yourself tell a lady that her son is still saved and going to Heaven even though her son turned away from the Lord to be one of the funny peoples (just a few minutes into the video)

And yet all you false doctrine peoples go around proudly proclaiming they are sinners who sin daily in thought word and deed. Weird.

Stop lying. @Dan Clarkston

No one goes around proclaiming they are sinners who sin daily, unless its some Satanist or Pagan, or similar.

See, you are just making stuff up.

Notice, ... = there is No Christian who is claimig they sin all the time.........However there are Christians who dont understand what Jesus has accomplished for them on The Cross, ........so, they confess sin to try to stay saved, or to be "re-saved" which is even worse.

Listen....Jesus is our Sin Bearer, ..

= “""""God made Jesus who knew no sin, to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”"""""

So, If Jesus is your sin bearer then your sins are forgiven, and because He is the "Eternal Sacrifice for Sin"... then you stay forgiven.

Now, if you are just water baptized thinking you are a Christian, then you are not forgiven.

Hi, and appreciate the video! Stanley is obviously a false teacher, not preaching the truth, and I think his teachings are still on 91.5 FM, Bott Radio. They should ban his teachings because if anyone teaches anything false, they usually have many other false teachings, though Stanley died in 23 at age 90. It's sometimes difficult to determine one's salvation by some of the things Christian-claiming people do; they may just not understand some Biblical truths yet. But something like being gay is definitely clear (without excuse) in many scriptural passages that condemns this practice; and yes, all homosexuals are unsaved. You must have truth and if one lacks it, it's because they are not truly seeking it! Only those who seek the truth find the truth; "seek, and ye shall find" (Mat 7:7; Luk 11:9):

"God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet" (Rom 1:26, 27).

Sadly the eternal security peoples have gotten in touch with their inner homosexual and embrace the perverts as being Christian brethren.

They claim if a person just has one moment of faith... they are saved and going to Heaven even if they turn away from the Lord and live like the devil, claiming it's impossible for anybody to ever lose their salvation.

2 Peter 2:20
For if after they have escaped the pollution of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

They like to play like 2 Peter 2:20 isn't in God's Word along with other warnings from the Lord that prove OSAS is false doctrine.

For my own house , I would tell homosexuals the very same thing that I’d tell *child molesters , *wife beaters , *rapists and * murderers ….
They are all in the same boat , sin is not graded on levels ….
The outcome for the victims sure is …but all sin is a transgression against love . “God IS Love. “
The antidote to sin is Love/God ….Himself .

just saying …
Blessings H

Well the ecumenical movement which most churches and preachers support these days claims that anybody who says they know "god" is saved and going to Heaven even as they engage in sinful behavior. Sad.

Why should we care what they say , if we keep our eye firmly on the things of the Spirit He will always lead and guide us into all truth . ( Jesus being , the Way, the Truth , and the Life.)

We get easily distracted when we start looking around and measuring others !

We have our own work cut out for us , if indeed we are wanting to hear “Well done thou good and faithful servant …enter ….”
We ‘drip Jesus‘ on all that we pass by on this journey of life , but our own eye better stay focussed as Paul taught …on the Prize ahead of us. “ Run with patience the race set before us “

Not sure what you mean by ecumenical preachers with regard to this topic.
I don't think that's a fair analysis of all pastors. You heard the pastor on this thread. It's the same as I've said about conservative Baptist preachers I have asked. They believe that a person who carries on his life in sin was never truly born again.
There is a difference between professing and possessing Christ. However, you may hear evangelicals do what is called an altar call. Is that not what the apostles did in Acts- "Believe on the Lord Jesus and you will be saved"..?
Seems you would have a problem with the apostles too. ?
The Lord takes over from there inside of a person, does He not? You seem to want them to give a 6 hour speech will all details. It's a food overload!! spiritual milk is taken in slowly so we don't choke people. I have heard each one of those evangelicals also say- be sure to read your bible, join a bible believing church, and some offer a number to call for Q's.
I would think anyone who responds to an altar call and never picks up a bible or obeys what the pastor ALSO said- they were not sincere from the get-go.
Make sense?
