I'm thinking about creating a new thread maybe like a top 10 free software suggestions.

Example:

Best Free Spyware Removal Program - Malwarebytes.

Best Free Browser

Best Antivirus

The choices would obviously be up for debate.

Go for it! I'm always willing to reveal the GEEKY part of my persona.

I like shiny and new just for novelty's sake sometimes. Firefox and Chrome are my go-to browsers. We have to use IE at work, so I hold my nose and keep it patched!

My wife and I use Firefox as the regular browser but Chrome for banking.

That's why I never used it, because it never worked with my online banking. You'd think they would have fixed that over the last 10 years?
