What happened to their own owners, the news reader said that they hoped that they could find new homes, I’m not understanding.
The shelters are moving stray animals already in the shelters to other shelters...to make room for people's pets that were affected by the fires.
Alot of people evacuated because of the fires took their pets with them to people shelters. But some pets ended up in the city animal shelter due to the fires. If they are chipped or have tags, they will reunite with owners.
Thank God that there are some who care enough for these furry friends. It just breaks my heart

Mine too, I’ve had to stop watching dogs/ cats who have been left outside to starve and have been unbearably neglected, what the h#@l is wrong with these people, where is their heart, ...I cannot believe the depths some people go ...they surly must be mentally ill, is all I can say.imo.Thank God that there are some who care enough for these furry friends. It just breaks my heart

Poor dog, no apparatus to protect his lungs, I can’t watch anymore as it breaks my heart, I know the rescuers are doing all they can, I’m not blaming anyone.
This is nice. Reporter feeding two dogs in fire area. Sheriffs and firefighters tried to help them previously.
Perhaps the owners were not at home and when the fires break out, they are not allowed to go to their homes.

I saw another video which showed them being loaded onto a truck while some fled down the street. All were evacuated.

I always think that it's good that people are helping the animals and like to see that.
