The mayor of DC called in the national guard to protect AGAINST the threat of violence.... this violence has NOT been specified as coming from Trump supporters... YET.... there is an outcry of UNFAIRNESS coming from the Trump camp.... It seems you can't win for losing... If there would not have been any EFFORT to send in the troops to PROTECT people and property.... many would have cried LACK of protection for Trump supporters. NO one has claimed that Trump suppporters are the ONES who are going to "potentially" cause damage.

What does this flippancy have to do with January 6? January 6 was a critical day in the history of the USA. Not because a handful of idiots stormed the capitol with the full consent of the capitol police, but because America was betrayed by Mike Pence on that day. The focus was deliberately shifted by everyone to those who entered the capitol, when the focus should have been on dealing with election fraud.
