Apophis

The asteriod named Apophis is predicted to pass close by the earth on April 13, 2029. According to JPL/NASA, there is a downplayed possiblity that it will strike the earth seven years later on April 13 2036.

What intrigues me is that from the first pass to the possible impact there is a time span of exactly seven years.

You will not need to worry about that asteriod. It will not hit the earth.
