Yes there are those who stir up strife at times....just do your best to put on the mind of Christ and your Holy Armor and don't let yourself get pulled into that battle of pride and arrogance.

Jesus was often harsh and critical and some probably found his "tone" to be unkind. The thing is, he didn't have a plank in his eye wherein we do.

Are you implying that everyone on the earth has plank in his eyes? Could it be a piece of dust or a tiny splinter for some?
Could it also be possible that the with planks in their eyes were imagining the motes in other people's eyes? Maybe they didn't -- maybe the hypocrites who couldn't see were fantasizing other people had motes that weren't there. After all, what could the hypocrites with the planks see?

Hi K9Buck.
Discerning tone on a screen is nigh on impossible. On another board I recieved several warnings. Why? Because I have a very sarcastic sense of humor and use it in my bible insitute classes I teach as well as everywhere else. Live, people know I am joking and mean 0 harm, but on paper or screen, one cannot discern the tone, body and fsace language that is used in delivery.
But as to the question, I am here for both! I wish to learn from brothers and sisters from their walk with god and understand why they hold a position I may disagree with.
I am also here to win the argument, if the person I am debating/discussing with clearly is holding false doctrine. We are commanded to earnestly contend for the faith as well love the brethren

Some people know Jesus & the truth of the bible after they experiencing terror from the darkness force of this world, and try to seek the answer. God is above all, He knew 2k years before this happening in current modern world. Many God's children are not woken up until something happens into their life similar to wheat and tares parable. Thru this forum we can share each experience with God and the struggle of keep the faith before God.
Matthew 13:24-30
24. Another parable set he before them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man that sowed good seed in his field:
25. but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares also among the wheat, and went away.
26. But when the blade sprang up and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
27. And the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst thou not sow good seed in thy field? whence then hath it tares?
28. And he said unto them, An enemy hath done this. And the servants say unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
29. But he saith, Nay; lest haply while ye gather up the tares, ye root up the wheat with them.
30. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather up first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them; but gather the wheat into my barn.
