I think this realistic
And I think the inflation pace of medical costs, AI will help with this
Not saying medical costs drop, just that we could get more medical care for the same dollar
And we could get better medical care with AI than without.
AI is already better at diagnosing patients than doctors alone.

AI is fixing problems we couldn’t solve before - here’s the proof

Most people think “AI” means chatbots and junk content — but behind the noise, neural networks are already solving real problems in the background. This episode explores how AI is accelerating chipmaking, helping restore Australia’s giant kelp forests, powering smarter prosthetics, and speeding up breakthroughs in medicine and batteries. Some of these tools are early, imperfect, and expensive — but they show the clearest case yet for how AI can genuinely improve human lives.

Well done video from an AI skeptic is seeing benefits from AI now.
All disruptive technology, changes things

AI is certainly amazing, But it reminds me of the movie Terminator 2 where computers take over the world.

Yes, that shows people love dark memes of sci-fi dystopias, it sells movies, and content.
Seems people are naturally geared towards destruction and adventures.
I also watch movies, most likely seen all the common ones like that.

If we are still here to reap the benefit.
This popped up in my news feed this morning

Anthropic researcher quits saying AI developers believe 'it could kill us all'

Decades ago, nuclear reactor ambitions of making safer and smaller ones were completely shut down.
They made movies and the public narratives shifted hard against nuclear power.

Your sentiments are under heavy influences and are swayed by the powers that exist.

Nuclear power could have produced an age of abundant cheap energy.
What we got instead was old tech boiling water reactors, unsafe and too expensive to build due to government policies.

But the military needed those reactors to make nuclear bombs so that is what we continued on with.

Militarized AI pursuits by governments is never going to stop.

yes, another dystopic destruction meme people gravitate towards
It afflicts all people including AI developers.

I am not well enough informed to make a decision about the positive versus negative aspects of AI ... unfortunately neither are the AI developers.
