Righteousness on our end is required---obedience to Jesus's commands for the lower walk. The foundation.

But the higher walk is empowered by the Spirit where we can visit God, Christ is in us empowering us to do miraculous works. This is only from seeking the Kingdom of God in prayer...

Actually the moment you got saved, you werea biding in christ. Jesus is our righteousness, and we abide whether we are obedient or disobedient children of God. We are hi dden in Him, dead in Him and perfected forever now!
