I talked to my Dad tonight and he asked me to ask my friends...
which you all are all my friends..
Were you given a felt pen when you went to vote, and did they give a reason why?

I went to vote. They handed me a felt pen. The topic of what kind of pen was never raised.
A woman he knows said they told her, the reason for the felt pen was due to issues with the voting machine. (Augusta Maine) .

He is just curious. I said I would. And here we are.

I filed mine out with my own pen at home, my MIL voted at the place and got a ball point. :)

I think its a matter of recognising a storm in a tea cup......the system is full of them and it keeps people distracted.......ohhh, besides, people live for their distractions.
