The serpent of Genesis got Eve to fall by getting her to fixate on the one thing she wasn't allowed to have.

In doing so, she forgot about all she already possessed ---a beautiful garden, Heavenly Father, and husband who cherished her. All she could see was the forbidden fruit.

A Christian wife rejects the idea of "if only" and only being blessed at some future point. She recognizes she is blessed now.


Now because she knows the Lord. Now because she has a husband to pour grace upon and pray for. Now because we live in such a comfortable era with so much technological advancement.

It is up to us to count our blessings and put a stop to all complaining. (Phillipians 2:14 KJV)

Venting does not work. It only spreads misery. It is God's will that we give thanks in all circumstances. And as a wife, this is a superpower that will guard you from being tempted to seek other situations than your own.

If I am wanting to be a great person, it's because my husband is even better.

He challenges me to be results minded and stick to working on my goals until I achieve them. He inspires me to never complain and to do things because they need to be done and not for praise.

He does not use his God given rule at my expense but rather sacrifices himself through hard work and making sure the family and I get things first.

His example leads in itself and when I think of what he's done for me, Im humbled.

He wanted to be a reliable, generous patriarch and he is achieving that dream.

Wives, always believe great things about your husband and act accordingly. Respect them, be submissive to them, and speak well of him to your friends and family. You reap what you sow.

One trait my husband desires the most in me is whimsy or playfulness. You allow, rather than force whimsy. But it also comes from having enough discipline to do your duties well enough that you aren't too stressed for whimsy.

Build up your man as a wife. Focus on the good in him. Otherwise, where will he get built up as a man?

At his job?
At his School?
With his friends?
In Movies and TV?

Tell him what he does right and what he does well. Encourage him. Be the one that believes in him.
