Hi there,
For some reason this message was deleted. I will just summarize.
There are a number of beginnings in the Bible, and while all have their place, one in particular concerns our time. Though not overtly about the beginning of the Devil, Isaiah does talk about the Devil being beautiful, but with a flaw. Iniquity is found in the Devil and he is downcast. But what was this iniquity? It was rage. The Devil raged at the will of God and he fell, for God was temperate. This was the foundation of the "days of vengeance", where Man struggled with the temptation to rage, on Earth. When Man was not in sin, he did not struggle, but when Man sinned, he did. This is the importance of the emphasis on Man's sin in Genesis in the Bible.
In our time, we are seeing that rage come to an end - the Devil has raged against the faith, and stumbled and now the knowledge of his rage is coming to light. We are able to identify it and resist it, the temptation to sin in rage being plain to us, despite our desire to praise the Lord still. God did not force the Devil to rage, but now that we see his rage for what it is, we can force him to keep his distance - to stay at a point, that disempowers his rage. God is using the Devil's rage as a tool, to encourage us not to be complacent about our praise, but also to exercise our faith and do great works for Him, despite the Devil's rage. When both we and the Devil rest, God has peace.
Can the Devil avoid raging, as much as he wants to? In a sense he has no choice; the rage which he used to have, eats away at his strength - he cannot continue in the rage he had, and still be strong on Earth. The time will come when he regains a little of his strength, but by then the Mystery of God will be known and men will not keep choosing that path with the Devil and his sin, again. We must be ready to fight and defend ourselves, but more importantly we must rejoice in being temperate, praising God and undertaking the work that He had for us. There is reason to praise God, even now for the rage of the Devil has been overcome, in Heaven! The Word of God is open to us and there is no rage in it!
I hope this has been of some encouragement.
