Im not relating to this scripture in the same way
You are, as far as to say we are sinning, unless the time came whereby we purposely neglected
To see the need and we ignored it.

I think this scripture is describing that whatsoever we do to the least of them we
Are doing it for Jesus, and i do not interpret it as we are to literally go to prisons to visit ppl
Or literally clothe all of the naked, rather,
I understand the scripture to be giving us
Examples of everything we have the ability to do or cannot do we are or arent doing it for Jesus.

I understand the scripture as a preparedness
To do these things if they are presented to us, with a willing heart and spirit for love of the
Brethren is love for Jesus.
I do not understand the scripture to mean
We are sinning if we dont visit people in prisons
And or if we do not clothe the naked each
Opportunity we get to do so, rather, altgough it can be a calling for people to have prison ministrys to visit is a nice calling to do, because
People can need our visits in their places of residence for us to visit and bring food or such things to them not just in a prison persay.

My understanding of this scripture exemplies the willingness we have to do kind things for
Others when we can, not that of something
We have to set out to do weekly or daily, since its an example, i believe, of the kind of heart
We are to have, open to those who we find during our lifetime to help.

This understanding presents itself to our heart
Whether or where we see the need and respond, or whether we can just ignore such
A calling because we cant go out of our way.
1 John 1:8 speaks to Linda
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

1 John 1:8 speaks to Linda
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
If we say we have never sinned we
Deceive ourselves, but to say we
No longer choose to sin is in compliance to
Obeying Jesus, “ go and sin no more”.

The word used in 1 John 1:8 is >>>>SIN<<<<<
You used SINNED - past tense to support your claim that you no longer SIN
..
2nd GREATEST commandment - love your neighbor as yourself
When was the last time you saw & suspected that someone was HOMELESS ?
Did you take them home with you till they were back on their feet ?
