Do you know what the written word of God does, the scriptures? They give you knowledge of what God did, what God has done. What God has done is complete. What God did is complete and is not waiting to be completed at some time, it is finished now or should say at the cross. If we wanted to be very technical our proper understanding would be to say "what was done before the foundation of the world." Because he chose the human race to be in Christ to complete his plan of salvation and completeness of the creature.

4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: - Ephesians 1:4.

The point being made is; you may not know it, you may not understand it, you may forget it, but it is written for all to see what God did. That is so powerful because no matter what that cannot be lost in anyway. You can always know it by simply reading it. Now we are called believer's in scripture, among other things, but we believe. If you are a believer you must believe the scriptures, plain and simple. You cannot take what is being said today with all the dought even from Christians not knowing anything, and not believe scripture. Not if you are going to be a believer.

That's what a believer is; they believe unto salvation and they believe God and what he has written. Not alot of guess work, if that is to much on someone then they can just not believe. Keep it simple. We should never force people to believe, if they don't get it then move on because we have enough unbelief in the world we don't need more in the body of Christ. If you are a christian and can't come to grips with scripture then you should set it aside untill you can. Don't propagate more false hoods.

I have talked with those that have said they were once a christian and then they had some discovery and now they don't believe. Either believe or don't but the game of "oh that is hog wash" makes a fool out of you and your brilliance.

"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you and your house shall be saved.'

The spirit is 'saved', next is salvation of the soul and body.
If you want to remain biblical (I Thess 5:23).
