23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. - 1 Peter 1:23.

When we were born again, it was by Christ you were born again. Look at scripture, they tell you to believe. When you believe, it is Christ that is the birthing, not the scriptures. The scriptures bring you to Christ but it is by Christ (upon believing) that a spirit is joined into the Lord's Spirit, and that is what constitutes the birthing. Born again by Christ. Born from above. Birthed by God. Father seed in you.

When you see the birthing, you can go anywhere in scripture with understanding because you know the principal of God for becoming a Father. Scripture says all creation speaks of God, look at the natural birth. It is so plain we miss it, I did and other's do by simply bypassing that part of scripture because we do not understand it. That is why the world is not born again, and scripture says to come out from among her (the world). How is it possible to come out from among the world? you guessed it; by a birthing. Everything evolves around a birthing. Same principal for Adam; a birthing took place in the fall in the garden. Look on these things and throw the out if they do not fit into the plan of God but they must be researched for the believer.

Home work for the willing. When you study that, keep in mind the emphasis is on the "SEED." What where who and so on did that seed come from in the beginning or the fall. What seed was planted and was it by a birthing? Great look at scripture for advid bible students. Bless you.

I just watched an interesting video by Trey Smith.
I will have to watch it again, it's only 1/3 of his whole video and I'm going to see if I can find the rest today.
In it he talks about the garments or the "skins" that God clothed Adam and Eve with.
He talks about the eye filled with light or the eye filled with darkness.

The Seed of disobedience.
Rom 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

That's it in a nutshell, in my opinion. The who what where and when and why of the fall of man.

The Seed in us happens when we are baptized in the Holy Spirit. It radically changes us and is an actual experience. It is not just a theological knowledge, or invisible positioning, but actual power that you know has happened, bringing you from death to life - from filthy weak sinner to righteous powerful child of God.

Romans 8:9
But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.

1 John 3:4 (What type of sin have we been freed from?)
4 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.

1 John 3:9 (A child of God cannot knowingly commit lawlessness. Why? Because the laws are written on our heart, so we KNOW them.)
9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.

I believe that is what Jesus is talking about when he says to Peter about being converted.

Luk 22:32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

It is a process..

Convert:
1. To change (something) into another form, substance, state, or product; transform: convert water into ice.

to revert (literally, figuratively or morally):—come (go) again, convert, (re-)turn (about, again).

Mat 13:15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

Psa 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

Refreshing, Reviving, Renewing are different translations to conversion.

Mat 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

You have this seed:
Jhn 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

And then there is this seed:
Isa 41:8 But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.

Rom 4:16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
Rom 4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
Rom 4:18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.

And we were all of the first seed Adam which fell.
And through faith in Christ we are converted to the seed of Abraham.

The first seed must die..

1Co 15:35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
1Co 15:36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
1Co 15:37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
1Co 15:38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.

Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

And it is TO DAY that that conversion needs to be made. In this life.

Jhn 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Passed from the seed of death to the seed of life.
It is a transition a conversion.

Thanks for commenting. I could only watch a short portion of the video and enjoyed what he was saying. I did catch he was addressing more of what may have happened after the fall than what was the cause of the fall or received at the point of disobedience. Very good what I watched. So it was more of a rehash of the effect. Great stuff though. Types-shadows so on.

Thank you sister. I like it, lay the hammer down lol. It needs to be said that way when you have an absolute in scripture and "being born again" is an absolute cause that needs presented in an absolute gesture and you do that. I love that thank you.

Yes, cantankerous Peter I referr to him at times. Tough fishermen chosen by Jesus to walk by his side and learn. Learn they did, the church is still being built on the Rock. I love the way you cover so many bases starting in Mathew and giving scripture and back into John, wonderful. Thank you. John in my opinion could have been an Epistle.

What a great study. There are things in scripture that just get more attention because they have more effect. The two seeds is one of those in my understanding, the two nature's is another. First and last Adam is another. Rightly dividing the word of truth. And dividing soul and spirit. Those to me are really big to a believer and can be given adequate time because it will be time well spent when pressing out the scriptures.

I think for me when talking with other believers is seeing how the Holyspirit has led them. To me that is part of fellowship to see the body of Christ come alive and be led by the Spirit and how their understanding has come about. Bless you.
