Biden administration attempts to seize powers with a ‘climate emergency’ declaration??

I don't know about climate change, but I'm hearing a lot of chatter about passing a bill that gives the President all power over the military and removing the oversight from congress.
Can anyone say martial law?
And will climate change be the culprit that launches it?
Don't forget the carbon tax on your carbon footprint.

yes, those solar panels dont power your house, they work with the grid, You can have an independent solar panel setup, but you have to have many solar panels to make it worthwhile. It is a compromise with utility power system design.
I think it is rather shocking that people with solar panels go dark when the utility line goes down, unless like you say they set up a kluge design with a battery. Meanwhile your solar panels are worthless even with the sun shining. All of that is one reason I would never bother with a grid connected solar system on my house. Solar panels are still not very efficient, only convert about 20% of sun to electricity.

I dealt with the big guys. Dealing directly with First Solar. Then sat in numerous meetings with German designers that wanted to manufacture and sell in the US. There was a study by a University that developed a fine metal film to go inside the panel and reflect most of the heat build up. An attempt to make solar more efficient. That research never materialized and the thin film is not inside the boxes. My bet is that after careful study and manufacturing considering the application....it was too costly for residential use.

yes as panels made for space are like 40% efficiency. But the ones you get are not.

A declared climate emergency with super powers for Biden could mean unimportant driving of your car could result in fines or impoundments. Police could stop people and ask them where they are going. It could also mean only filling up on certain days of the week for odd and even license plates. It could mean dropping the speed limit to 55 mph. Gasoline rationing system, every one gets only a certain allotment they can buy per week. Any and all things could be devised to force and enforce reduced gas and diesel consumption.
Since they consider burning gasoline and diesel to be so destructive to the environment, anything is possible. Biden would just sign the executive orders dreamt up by extremist greens on his payroll. And how about forcing older cars and truck off the roads. No longer allowed to register them as their engines "pollute" more. New taxes on car parts, repairs and on new cars using fuels that are not electric. Recall the Luxury Tax on boats? That one devastated the boating industry.

I was doing business with the Yacht industry in St Petersburg, FL when that one was done. Overnight, everyone of those yacht builders, moved to the Bahamas. We specialized in store fixtures, custom fixtures and were making a killing. There were six boat builders side by side that owned an old shopping center. They had us come in and work on a Yacht shopping Center for the boat buyers. Our special incentives after every meeting, was to take a trip out to the Sunshine Skyway on the latest Yacht test run. Man, we had a ball on the test runs of someone else's latest toy.

Looks like solar panels quit working in super-hot weather, something I did not know. Another one of their problems they get dirty - dusty and if shaded even a little, panel output drops a lot.

A Republican Congress needs to do a lot of clean up beginning in January. Legislation they thought was good, is a Republic Death Threat in the hands of the wrong person. Supposedly, Biden could pack the court and theoretically not a thing could be done to stop him. This needs to be stopped. Nothing in the republic should grant that level of power to one individual.
