Does Youngs 2023 transcribe

עֶ֙צֶם֙ e·ṣem

the same as before 2012?

SPELLING of Etsem Yohm in ‘older’ Strongs

Traver's 'Selfsame' article of 2002-01-03, downloaded 2019/02/23, recorded references none, first browsed by myself 2023/03/12.
Rich Traver “The SELFSAME DAY”
(Strongs #1931) lists two words. In an older Strong’s, it gives #2088 / 6106. A more modern version of Strong’s lists NO NUMBER (Nelson Publishers, 1984)

Englishman’s Hebrew Concordance pages 972-973, showing eleven places where the word “geh-tzem is rendered “selfsame”. Strong’s has the same 11 places having “selfsame”, and gives 89 instances where “eh-tsem” is translated “bones”.

the root does not mean that "that very day" means "bone day"… You cannot just decide, because you think it would be neat, or have some sort of cool and mysterious significance, that words actually mean whatever you think they ought to mean based on your speculations over some open concordances. You have now had a few people who actually have functional facility with Hebrew tell you that you are wrong. I actually have advanced degrees in Jewish Studies and Rabbinic Literature, and I can promise you, there is no such thing as "bone day." It's just painfully, cringe-worthily, incorrect. CGE provided emphasis and colouring

R. Traver: The_Selfsame_Day_6ed.pdf

Why would this word [in Singular for <“geh-tzem” / “eh-tzem”>] be translated “selfsame” … a word normally rendered as “bones”…? When the application [of <this word>:<“geh-tzem” / “eh-tzem”>] is to a calendar date, we are being given evidence suggesting a reference to an event that happened in the past.

The Selfsame Day As What?

This is what many are unaware of, that the use of this term suggests a reference to something from the past. When we see the words[in English 3 words], “the selfsame day”, we ought to ask ourselves, the self-same day as what? The use of this term suggests the anniversary of some event.

To which presuming CGE replies:

When the application of this word:“geh-tzem” / “eh-tzem” is to a calendar DATE, we are being given evidence PROVING a reference to THE calendar date of the DAY of the event that happened in the past, namely, “the Selfsame Bone-Essential DAY” – “ettsem-YOHM” of the PASSOVER’S “THREE DAYS DARKNESS” “the fourteenth…the fifteenth…(the sixteenth) DAY of the First Month (Abib)” : Written in Holy Scripture:—ettsem-YOHM”—never “ettsem” without “YOHM”!

And THIS, is what everybody are unaware of, that the use of this PHRASE PROVES a reference to something from the past prophetic: Our Passover The Lamb of Yahweh. When we see the words[in English 3 words], “the selfsame day”, we ought to KNOW, “THIS THE SELF-SAME-BONE-ESSENTIAL-DAY THAT”… that WHAT?…“that the LORD BROUGHT YOU OUT”! THE SELFSAME DAY THAT

ἕως εἰς αὐτὴν τὴν ἡμέραν ταύτην ἕως ἂν

עֶ֙צֶם֙ et·tṣem Selfsame Bone Essential הַיּ֣וֹם hay·yō·wm DAY הַזֶּ֔ה haz·zeh this that Exodus 20:2 I AM the LORD thy God have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

THIS, rather is what everybody is WELL aware of, that it is this PHRASE which PROVES a reference to something we KNOW but PRETEND we don’t, that THIS PHRASE is “THAT bone-essential DAY”—that selfsame DAY”. THIS is what everybody, are, WELL aware of, and then divert from – the very thing at issue divert from – and rave and rage about a non-issue about the meaning of the isolated out of context SINGLE WORD which by itself references to nothing whatsoever. And so they authoritatively declare, “IT DOES NOT EXIST”—proving the stupidity of only them WHO SO CLAIM, AND THAT IS NOT CGE but they are the people who actually have functional facility with Hebrew who tell CGE that he is wrong because they actually have advanced degrees in Jewish Studies and Rabbinic Literature, and promise CGE, “There is no such thing as "bone day." It's just painfully, cringe-worthily, incorrect.

To which cheap swank CGE replies with DUH

1678868734588.pngAnd it's not the Concordances and Lexicons' fault -- it's the fault of the people who actually have functional facility with Hebrew and actually have advanced degrees in Jewish Studies and Rabbinic Literature who tell us this crap for Gospel.
