Yeah, everyone has their opinion, but I suggest a close look at this verse:
Rev 1:3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.
stumpmaster, when you read that the time is near. When the Bible speaks of the time being near and that scripture was written in and around 96AD. Now the Bible takes about scoffers that will say it’s been so long and Christ hasn’t returned yet. These scooters haven’t understood. You see the scriptures tells us that Christ appeared in the end days. With the prophecy of the 70 weeks we are told that 69 of the 70 weeks would be completed with the destruction of Jerusalem. That left one week left. This is speaking of the time of the beast. The time span between the 69th week to the last week to begin is God’s grace being poured out to the gentiles. Once God declares time no longer ending this time span the last week begins. Time declared no longer in revelation 10. Then what happens the last week begins. God’s grace has lasted for a long time as we gage time. But with God it isn’t. What happens is people use human reasoning to explain scriptures rather than asking the Father for it. Some people read bits and pieces a draw a conclusion not see everything. This is where they fall short in understanding. I am so glad that God has hidden these things from the wise and has revealed them to the unwise and unlearned. Some teach you have to good to men for the understanding of God’s word and say only the educated can truly understand. That’s not what the Lord said. The Apostle wrote if you desire to know anything ask the Lord and he will reveal it. He went on to say that you don’t have to ask men for anything involving God’s word.
