As we know, the cross is the cure for humanity. It is available for all that would believe unto salvation - the cross is the cure for those that would believe. With that in mind - God redeeming humanity back to himself.
See if we can look at what would be another step in the salvation of humanity!
- I believe God really wanted for human beings to know the Jesus that would be in them! The Jesus that would be placed in every believer. The Jesus in every believer would be the one to reveal who the Father was to the believer. The same Father that Jesus had, would be the Father of all that believed (because of a birth). I realize not everyone believes in actually being born of God - they take it metaphorically or whatever the word would be. But the fact of the matter is; if you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ..as scripture reads, then a birthing takes place - you are born again. A literal birth takes place the moment you believe. That's wonderful to know - the birthing (as we will referr to being born again), will be one of the most powerful understandings in all of what is written to the born again, in the word of God!
What is written to the born again, is written based on that birth. When it (scripture) is speaking to a Christian..it speaks based on a birth. It is referring to you as a person with Christ in you - the born again!
Now there are a few major points in what is written to the new creation people. I'll name two that are keystone to Christianity.
1) The birthing, or born again. A literal birth has taken place and that is what makes you who you are. You are a Christian, and what makes you a Christian is; God the Father placed His seed - the resurrected Jesus Christ - in you the moment you believed! That is what a Christian is, or child of God. Literal child by a birth. In a birth there is a nature involved. In our case an exchange of natures by the cross..old out - new in.
2) Only two nature's in all of scripture; we can see a sin nature (which is not a human nature), and we see the nature of God; It is the understanding of the two nature's in scripture that will open scripture up to you and be keystone in understanding. First Adam - last Adam..sin nature - devine nature..old man (sin nature) dead..new man alive (Christ in you). If you look at scripture close enough you see it only deals with Adam's nature or Christ nature (devine nature).. meaning we are in one or the other. You are either in Adam..or in Christ. That is all you can find written in scripture. That is how God deals with humanity based on who they are in. There are those still in Adam..and there are those that are in Christ.
So you really have a hard time just finding yourself in scripture as a separate self. Such as saying! God did this for me and he spoke to me and I'm this and I'm that. Scripture begs to differ.
What God did was crucify all in Adam in Christ on the cross. Now he did do something for you but it was based on you being in Adam, and now in Christ. Both have a nature. Adam had the nature of his father Satan..and Christ has the nature of his Father.. God. So there is no such thing as a human nature. Humans have a nature but it does not come from a human. Science coined the term 'human nature,' not scripture.
