Brother's Depression

Got a call from a family member that my little brother posted online that he has one last album to make and then he is taking his life.

He has been messing around with some satanic stuff the past year so please keep him in your prayers.

Already lost my grandfather (by marriage but still very important to me) to suspected suicide last year and really just want this thing broken off in my family.

Make it a long long long album. One that needs at least another 50 years to complete.
Postponement is the best strategy for suicidals.
I pray for anyone feeling suicidal right now. Life can be rather painful or boring or a feeling of pointlessness. We all need endurance. We all need courage. We all need to hang on there for each others' sake.

thanks guys, i will try and contact him tomorrow. trying to figure out what to say first. i think they're trying to figure out something for him. he is messing around with bad stuff and i suspect he is bipolar. i can't think of the right things to say to him. i appreciate your prayers

maybe keep me in your prayers too. a lot of old feelings coming up to the surface and i don't know if this triggered it because of another family members suicide attempt at that time, but i am feeling really alone/abandoned/neglected and need God to actually just do something. i just want to go home and not sure where that is yet.

aw, thank you, tone, and for your prayer! that is a ten string lyre. i prefer the acoustic guitar but mine is traveling somewhere right now around with my dad, probably. needed something i can carry around without a lot of fuss.

Yeah, I'm a late bloomer when it comes to getting around to doing music. I mean, I knew that it has always been in me, and I've always had this sense of rhythm, but I just started learning music theory and now I'm messing around with DAWs and Midi boards...and I didn't even know what all this was until a few months ago...ha ha.

I write poetry and listen to music all day so I thought I'd set about learning how to put it all together!

I'm gonna learn to play the piano since I have this big ole keyboard now...and it's piano...ish...!

Haha Yousician is probably the best thing out there to ***start off with*** to learn to play piano, guitar, etc. I meant to tell @Mayflower that too and I completely forgot.

It's like Guitar Hero except you're actually learning and you're not wasting time. Playing an instrument exercises every part of the brain, too, which was part of my motivation.

It looks like this and then you hit the right notes and it lights up and you get a cool score and everything! Poetry is awesome! I quit writing about 4-5 years ago and never looked back on purpose, but I like other people's stuff.
