Looking again at 2 Peter 1

Three things set apart before going into 2 Peter 1 to me are:

1) Seek you First the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all these things will be supplied. To me there in not much way of disputing what things are spoken of as being supplied “multiplied” unto you…as mere food, drink, and clothing. Because 2 Peter 1 tells of: “precious and magnificent promises” in: to be made (become) partakers of His Divine Nature. These “precious and Magnificent promises” “To those who have received a Faith of the same kind as ours by the Righteousness of Our God and Savior Jesus Christ.” <— how often do we dispute their Faith was a different Faith than is seen today, no of the same Faith as theirs by the Righteousness of Our God and Savior Jesus Christ. How often is it disputed that they had “precious and Magnificent” promises that was only for a time and a season and has now passed by?

Yet Peter says:
“TO Those who have received a Faith of the Same Kind as Ours
By the Righteousness of Our God and Savior Jesus Christ.”

“A Faith of the Same Kind as Ours”
Which belongs “precious and Magnificent promises” …

2) mentioning also; all that is spoken of “supply” to your faith, and be “Multiplied” …as 2 Peter 1 speaks of not being rendered useless but fruitful. All pointing to the One who supply’s the seed sown, who is able to multiply the seed that is sown, and who renders it not useless but Fruitful…to Him who is able to Multiply your seed sown.

3) all out from One Faith, One Voice, One mouth Glorify God, in Seek First the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness—> to those who have received a Faith of the Same Kind as Ours by the Righteousness of Our God and Savior Jesus Christ.
Sorry for going over the same things but I want to make sure to clarify that as it goes into 2 Peter 1…to me when it says “supply” these things, or by (your) Faith…that to me it is not saying … “your” (possessiveness) Faith as in you are unique or as if the supply comes by yourself and of yourself, in how great “Your” Faith is …BUT instead to those “who have received a Faith of the same kind as ours by the Righteousness of Our God and Savior Jesus Christ(and how Great this same kind of Faith is in Christ) (Not by the will of the flesh but of the Spirit of God that no flesh boast before God.)

What is “to receive of a Faith of the same kind as ours” …Peter? Peter will go into being called a bond-servant of Jesus Christ. Paul refers to himself as the same “bond servant of Jesus Christ.” the only difference is Peter sent to the circumcision and Paul to the uncircumcised; yet both effectual workings were of the same Faith, the effectual working of and by the Spirit of God. Interesting is while speaking of food, drink and clothing …is the mention of even after these things the gentiles seek and How God knows you have need of those things. And of “the same Faith as Ours” by the Righteousness of Out God and Savior Jesus Christ…went to the Gentiles also.

When speaking of “Precious and Magnificent promises” and “Seek you the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all these things will be added unto you” …is “to those who have received the Same Faith as Ours by the Righteousness of Our God and Savior Jesus Christ”…in any way speaking of literal food, literal drink or literal clothing?
OR applying all diligence,
in Faith apply; moral excellence,
and in moral excellence; knowledge,
and in knowledge; self-control,
and in self-control; perseverance,
and in perseverance; godliness,
and in godliness; brotherly kindness,
And in brotherly kindness; Love.

For if these qualities are yours and increasing,
They render you neither useless nor unfruitful in the True Knowledge of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

For who lacks those qualities is blind (or) short-sighted, having forgotten His purification (His First Love?), and He whom purified him from His former sins)

From “Simon Peter a bond-servant and Apostle of Jesus Christ.
To those who have received a Faith of the same Kind as Ours. Grace and Peace be multiplied (seed sown) to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, seeing that His Divine Power has granted us everything pertaining to Life, and godliness, through the True Knowledge of Him who called us by His own Glory and excellence.
For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so we be made transformed (become) partakers of His Divine Nature: diligence, Faith, moral excellence, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, Godliness, brotherly-Kindness, Love.

Simon Peter a bond-servant and Apostle of Jesus Christ.
Looking closer at “godliness” because it is a confusing word to me.yet in the passage of supply, adding (multiply, increase in these qualities, him who does not increase in these qualities is blind, not knowing he is blind, miserable and naked.) …increase these qualities as God has granted us the things pertaining to Life: unto
and in perseverance; godliness,
and in godliness; brotherly kindness,
And in brotherly kindness; Love.

what does God say about “godliness” in His word. Like is it “godliness” a forbidden word? As forbidden as those who touched the Ark and died by touching it. Like don’t touch it! Least you die! Yet …godliness—is one of these things that pertains unto Life?

Seeing that His Divine Power has granted (equipped, supplied, given unto) us everything pertaining to Life (not pertaining to death but everything pertaining to life in Christ because all things pertaining to Life and godliness) …He has granted (equipped) …so that you do not worry what you will put on, or what you will eat, or what you will drink …For God has granted us everything pertaining to Life:
applying all diligence,
in Faith apply; moral excellence,
and in moral excellence; knowledge,
and in knowledge; self-control,
and in self-control; perseverance,
and in perseverance; godliness,
and in godliness; brotherly kindness,
And in brotherly kindness; Love.
Saying …if these things, these qualities be in you and are increasing they make you not useless or unfruitful in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
^in this is no need to worry of what you will put on having put of the New Man of and through Christ, where you go not thirsty being filled with the Righteousness of Christ, neither going hungry who hunger after the New Man. —clothed, never to thirst again or hunger being filled of the Spirit of God.

For God has granted us everything pertaining to Life:

1 Corinthians 3:21-23 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; [22] Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours; [23] And ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's.

To me it is profound where Paul is going to speak in “by common confession” “Great is the Mystery of godliness” in Timothy 3:16 but carried over to 2 Corinthians 4:5-15 For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

By Common confession, Great is the Mystery of godliness.
He who was revealed in the flesh…if this not what Paul is desiring? Delivered unto death that the Life also of Christ might be manifest in our mortal flesh…?
2 Corinthians 4:5-15 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. [6] For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. [7] But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. Remember
For God has granted us everything pertaining to Life:
applying all diligence,
in Faith apply; moral excellence, (that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.)
and in moral excellence; knowledge,

By Common confession, Great is the Mystery of godliness…God has granted unto us all things pertaining unto Life…
8] We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; [9] Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; [10] Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. [11] For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. [12] So then death worketh in us, but life in you. [13] We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; [14] Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus and shall present us with you.

Remember For God has granted us everything pertaining to Life: By Common confession, Great is the Mystery of godliness.
15] For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.

He who was revealed in the flesh,
Was vindicated —declared righteous in the Spirit,
Seen of angels,
Proclaimed among nations,
Believed on in the world,
Taken up in Glory.
Remember For God has granted us everything pertaining to Life:
15] For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.

Continued study on “godliness”

For kings and all that are in authority; that we live a quiet and peaceable Life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our savior. Who will have all men be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. (1 Timothy 2: 1-4)

….a warning to Timothy though…But the Spirit explicitly says that in latter times some will fall away from this common faith paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons. …not after godliness but hateful liars who love strife and wars and tearing the body apart to destroy it. (Paraphrasing what the warning means to me. To me it doesn’t speak of unbelievers that just haven’t gotten the message but instead of those who take the message of Christ and deceitfully handle it as a weapon to steal, kill, and destroy hating and despising their own body.)

1 Timothy 4: 7-8 refuse profane and old wives' tales, and exercise of things that profit little. But godliness is profitable in all things.
For God has granted us everything pertaining to Life:

applying all diligence,
in Faith apply; moral excellence,
and in moral excellence; knowledge,
and in knowledge; self-control,
and in self-control; perseverance,
and in perseverance; godliness,
and in godliness; brotherly kindness,
And in brotherly kindness; Love.
^Having this promise of Life that now is, and that which is to come.

Consent not to unwholesome words,
Consent to the words of Jesus Christ and godliness…
not to He is proud.
Knowing nothing
Doting about questions and strife of words, whereof comes death, envy, strife, railings. Evil surmising, perverse disputes of men of corrupt minds, destitute of the truth, supposing to gain godliness —-which they reject and speak against indeed —demonic. From such withdraw yourself no longer running alongside with them.

Godly contentment is great gain.
For God has granted us everything pertaining to Life: (having and increasing in these qualities is a blessing?)
applying all diligence,
in Faith apply; moral excellence,
and in moral excellence; knowledge,
and in knowledge; self-control,
and in self-control; perseverance,
and in perseverance; godliness,
and in godliness; brotherly kindness,
And in brotherly kindness; Love.

O man of God…flee these things that are demonic in nature.
Follow after righteousness, godliness, Faith, love , patience, meekness 1 Timothy 6:3-6.

Not “having a form of godliness” but denying the power thereof For God has granted us everything pertaining to Life:
applying all diligence,
in Faith apply; moral excellence,
and in moral excellence; knowledge,
and in knowledge; self-control,
and in self-control; perseverance,
and in perseverance; godliness,
and in godliness; brotherly kindness,
And in brotherly kindness; Love.

From such who oppose what God has granted pertaining unto Life, (2 Timothy 3:5) deny the power thereof —ever learning, never able to come to the knowledge of the truth—turn away.

— 2 Timothy 2:3-10 you have fully known my doctrine, manner of Life, purpose, faith, long-suffering, Charity and patience. (The things granted of God pertaining to Life).

The truth after godliness Titus 1:1 Seeing you look for these things...

Seeing those things should be dissolved.
What manner of persons ought you be in all conversation and godliness, for God has granted unto us the things pertaining to Life that you be clothed in the New Man, having all sufficiency in and through Him, drink and food. 2 Peter 3:11

2 Peter 3:15 regard (Highly and Worthy) the patience of our Lord (as) salvation. Be diligent: Seeing you look for those things; these things pertaining to Life God has granted that you may Live...
applying all diligence,
in Faith apply, moral excellence,
and in moral excellence; knowledge,
and in knowledge; self-control,
and in self-control; perseverance,
and in perseverance; godliness,
and in godliness; brotherly kindness,
And in brotherly kindness; Love.
For if these qualities increase ... they make you fruitful in the Knowledge of Jesus Christ. John said, "He must be increased."
diligence,
in Faith apply, moral excellence,
and in moral excellence; knowledge,
and in knowledge; self-control,
and in self-control; perseverance,
and in perseverance; godliness,
and in godliness; brotherly kindness,
And in brotherly kindness; Love.

And I must decrease. ...Doting about questions and strife of words, whereof comes death, envy, strife, railings. Evil surmising, perverse disputes of men of corrupt minds, destitute of the truth, supposing to gain godliness —-which they reject and speak against indeed —demonic. From such withdraw yourself no longer running alongside with them. The qualities of God increasing and being multiplied, these things seek after….for God has granted us the things or pertaining to Life.
Having this promise of Life (The earnest of Spirit of God) that now is, and that which is to come.
