I wonder what group of men you speak of? Just so you know, if anyone reads a scripture a day, and especially try to find out the truth of it, God will take note, and give you little boosts of help to become a “regular” Christ man.Does tea help? :)
G'day Fred.....'group of men'? not sure what you mean here. Anyway, good to see you dive in here.I wonder what group of men you speak of? I don't think it qualifies. I know this is not very charitable, but it seemed like poetic justice to see CNN's building trashed by those who have the liberal mentality CNN has fostered. Is CNN an news agency? Did not know that they qualified.
Oh It will take a while to explain. I would love to get my head around this first sister and then I answer your question :) I'll tell you something though. You guys are more politically motivated then we are for sure!
Question?
1. Are all Republicans Christians?
2. Are All Liberal parties Non-Christian?
3. Are any of the parties centre right or left?
4. Since you have so many states, how is the president and the governors of each state elected?
5. How long does the president hold power until the next election?
6. Do governors win seats or majority votes per state to make a win?
7. Does that win for the governed state equal the win for the party????
8. Where do you make your votes???
Oh I have always thought that the left wing is liberal party like our Labour party and the right wing is conservative like our National party which would be similar to their Republican party.Hi Ange. One of the most confusing things is the term "liberal".
For us the Liberal party is conservative and the Labour party is progressive. In America it's the progressive party that they call liberal.
The Labour party is our left wing, progressive party. The democrats are theirs
The Liberal party is our right wing, conservative party. The republicans are theirs

Your are right with your description. I thought NZ had the same parties as we do in Australia. My bad.

ou see all the rioting in Minnesota...raiding stores....burning things down....no respect for the law enforcement, that is the radical left....democrats....
You think thse thugs slashing tires are "radical left....democrats?"
![]()
Minneapolis police went on a spree of vandalism slashing tires of cars parked in the downtown area.
That all depends on why. Security, if a car is not where it is suppose to be, by order, or circumstance, they flatten the tires to prevent it from being used as a weapon.
Most of the infamous black arrests start out as resisting arrest. When a law enforcement officer tells you to halt, put your hands up and interlace your fingers behind your head....these people, think that is optional. So they think if they can out fight the cop they are good to go. Under no circumstances do I want an armed law enforcement officer wrestling with someone they are trying to detain or arrest. These people think if their hands are in the air they can still keep coming at the officer.
There is no part of that, that is correct. Not correct training. I do not care what color or size they are, armed or unarmed. If they keep coming at the officer, hands up or down, I want them to put two rounds into their center mass, that would be their chest. The negotiations can start after that. There is no reason why a law enforcement officer should risk bodily harm in the performance of his or her duty. There is no reason to risk a criminal taking a gun away from a cop. There is no excuse for what we see some of these protesters doing.
All of this is about disrespect for authority.
Wanting something that some else has without working for it.
The desire to degrade our civilization to chaos and anarchy. They say," destroying property is not violence and it is immoral to say it is."
This is a subculture of crazy lunatics.
"Rape, pillage and plunder is our nature, and you are prejudice if you do not support it.
My explanation stands.
Common sense and reality please!
I was pointing out the lack of respect for authority and belief that doing what a officers says during an arrest is optional.
No. There were no people in those cars. This was just gratuitous vandalism by police who had become criminals. No doubt they were angry, but police can't allow themselves to let anger boil over into criminal behavior. But "we were in fear of our lives, so we slashed all those car tires" is certainly a creative excuse for vandalism.No. There were no people in those cars. Do you think slashing people's tires was violence?
Nope. Flat on it's back, eyes rolled up.
So the officer who murdered Floyd was justified in kneeling on his neck after he had been cuffed, even though he was begging them to let him breathe? No, that's not going to work, any more.
You should have thought of that before you justified those criminals slashing tires.
You seem to be arguing with yourself, now.
BTW, the law does not require anyone respect anyone. If does require that police and civilians obey the law. Hopefully, they can identify some of the police who were vandalizing property.

You see marksman why there is little incentive for the average thinking punter to have faith in the democratic process? Power mongers getting their way.....fiddling with the rules and putting forward an honest face. I don't think it's any different anywhere on the globe in spite of the image that is presentedThe heading is CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW YOUR POLITICS WORK?
I will stick with that and say they don't most of the time. I have been involved in the political process for 40 years, so I have seen it all upfront. It boils down to one factor. Who has the most influence?
I remember standing for preselection for a State Election seat. There were about a dozen candidates in all. It wasn't until preselection day that we knew who all the candidates were. The local Mayor was one and I knew that I stood no chance against him because he was a very good mayor and knew the area well. You would think that he was a shoe-in.
Not so. The party machine had injected a member from I don't know where to stand for preselection as a reward for whatever she had done elsewhere. The fact that she was there for preselection came with a silent message. Select her because that is what the party machine wants.
So guess who was selected? The best candidate? No. The party machine candidate who we did not know from a bar of soap and had never lived in the electorate.
She did her stint in Parliament and when she decided not to stand again she disappeared into the sunset never to be seen again.
