Madeleine L'Egle wrote christian inspired books similar to Narnia.
Ditto with JRR Tolkien's Lord of the Rings.
The Count of Monte Cristo has a few good christian themes.

If they are young I'd suggest ' Stories Jesus Told' by Mick Inkpen.
They are a retelling of some of Jesus's parables, Pearl of great Price, wise & foolish builders etc, simple retold with amusing illustrations
