Perhaps renounce is too strong a word?
To renounce means to formally give up, refuse, or declare that you no longer support or have a connection with something.

Christianity could certainly be given up behaviorally (stop attending/associating), without formal declaration.
Or even passively (continue attending/associating), without formal declaration. Keep your concerns privately.

Such behavior is possible without renouncing Christ. IMHO

Some churches, or individuals will disagree. What do you say?

[
Sure.
Jesus was the fulfillment of the Jews Messiah prophecy.

Messianic Judaism would be a nice fit for a former Christian.

Jesus didn't found Christianity. And amazingly despite that fact there are Christians who I've met and who insist Jesus was a Christian!

Jesus didn't say, believe as a Christian and be saved. Faith in Him alone, saves. All else follows because the Holy Spirit leads the faithful.

Why would Messianic Judaism be a nice fit for a former Christian?
Do you think Messianic Jews are not Christians? (Christ followers)
It's your thread.

My point is, if someone doesn't think they can be a member of the Christianity sect, they as a Christ follower could go to Messianic Judaism.

Post the video here.
I want to see the look on their face when you offer that as a solution. - LOL

I guess that makes two of us. - LOL
No,just you.
Rather than laughing you might seek to learn what Messianic Judaism is.

And before you lol again and claim you do know,no,you don't. So,educate yourself. LOLing through life is worthless when you're not educated.

As far as Messianic Judaism is concerned, you obviously are not.

I do know what Messianic Judaism is.
My wife and I had an interest in Messianic Fellowship many years ago.
We visited for worship on Sabbath and did a Friday night Sabbath meal once.

But it makes no sense to me to suggest a former Christian should join them.
That's why I asked you to explain. (you refused)

I didn't refuse. You refused to abandon sarcasm in your replies.

Your sarcasm indicated you mocked my suggestion. And that communicated you weren't one to engage in a reasonable discussion from a point of knowledge.

It's your thread. If you knew about the faith of Messianic Judaism you would know why,per your OP hypothetical, MJ would be a viable option for a Christ believer if they didn't want to affiliate with Christianity.

Still no explanation for your ridiculous assertion. Just more deflecting.

There's your typical pattern.
Just because you are incapable of understanding, it doesn't mean I failed to explain.

Let's try again.
Messianic Judaism.
If you actually did know what it is, you don't, you would realize my first post explained itself.
What tradition, faith, would a Christ follower choose if they didn't want to be affiliated with Christianity?
Messianic Judaism.

Look it up.

We're done.

What faith would you follow if you abandoned condescension and sarcasm?

Messianic Judaism.
That would not even be on my list of options.
What faith would you follow if you abandoned condescension and sarcasm?
That saw cuts both ways.
