I have come to realise a dilemma in our day to day social discourse. Consider that when we engage in social discourse we need to give attention and get attention for proper receptivity, and a better understanding of each other's point of view. But when somebody want's people to only pay them attention, then all other people's view's in that conversation will cancelled out.

So the dilemma is this:
If every person in a group stopped giving proper attention to others, then every person in that group who only wants to get attention won't actually get any at all.

Weird.

A follower of the Messiah should have no fear of being cancelled by the culture.

What Christians should do

How should followers of Christ respond to the ‘cancel culture’ phenomenon?

One: See persecution as a call to courageous perseverance. …

Two: Seek the reward of God before the acclaim of the culture. …

Three: Choose to engage the culture with truth and grace. …”

I like these three suggested responses. Other actions?
