Colossians 3:3 (NASB20)
For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

There are two truths being put forth in the above scripture, if the heart, by use of faith, would put these two truths together, one would experience the greatest place of rest before God…. For in these two truths, lay the foundation of one’s salvation in Christ, that being the doing away with the life of this world and the becoming Christ’s….
For Christ’s death and resurrection was for the express purpose of putting to death the life of this world which was brought forth by the fall of Adam’s first created state… For it is the life of this world that is one’s sinfulness, with the lust of the eyes, the flesh, the pride of life… The pride of life being, the will to do things one’s way, not knowing that one’s way is own will, for own will is incapable of doing righteousness, for righteousness itself is that thing alone that can be blessed by God, for if it is not righteousness it is wrong and incapable of being blessed…
For when one sees one can not do righteousness on one’s own, the above state of rest is the greatest state in one’s salvation in God…. Then the entering in by faith to the above state of rest becomes one’s home, to be moved off this state of rest becomes one’s greatest fear… The eyes of the heart then are carefully watchful that one’s faith is always towards Christ, so that He could always be fulfilling His work to live His life in and through…
Oh the place of rest before God, that would permit Him to fulfill His promises in one, blessed is the heart that would so enter in…
