In Gloucester Mass. there is a place in the woods on the middle of the Island (Cape Ann) that has a series of stones with carved words on them. Not much is known of the persons who made them, (Unemployed stone cutters during the depression) but they are a permanent record of who they were and what they believed and valued. (See Pics Below)
Our lives in Christ can be like that as well as we journey through this world. We can choose to conceal the light in us, or let that light shine in us and each other person we shine that light on in our lives is like a stone we etch our values on for future generations to see. They may never meet that light itself but they will see the effects of that light on others in our life. Go, carve some stones in this world, by letting the light of life in you shine through you to those stones in this world. Be a testimony of the Gospel of Grace for all around you to see.
