I tend to agree and often wonder if the seven seals were opened a long time ago, not totally sure. Sometimes I think the Lord's return is after we die we meet him in the after life. And I don't think you need your body from earth to be resurrected. I kinda think he can provide a new body that is clean and new. I'm undecided on all this, but I often wonder.

I see it as mostly symbolic language about the Christians in the first century. The Apocalypse is the most abused and misunderstood book because ever since people thought they could figure things out many want the book to be about the future but it's not.
