Galatians 1:8-9,
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
The freedom we have in Christ was Paul's burden for the born again. He knew bondage as well as anyone. Some of the hardest words for Paul to ever speak or write were the words "if anyone preach any other gospel let him be accursed. Why? because Paul's mission, his burden was for the people. He loved the saints, he cared and did everything in his power to protect the saint from any other gospel. If Paul were alive today I could see him hang his head and weep the way some of God's people are used up by religion. You can go anywhere, believe anything, attend any building you desire, but if your understanding is not fixed on Christ in you and Christ alone as your life, not only have you done a disservice to yourself but to the true gospel as well for which Paul and the other Apostles gave their life for.
This is not a namby pamby religion, this is a stand alone if you have to! faithful to your father and the Christ in you! that Paul preached. You will not find Paul arguing about eschatology, or who the anti-christ is, he mentioned the coming of the lord and moved on, he never mentions all the miracles Jesus did when walking the earth. But over 150 times he gives this message point blank of Christ in the believers and then gives warning to those that would preach a self effort gospel. There is nothing you can do to get this, this what? this salvation. This salvation comes in the person of Christ in you the hope of glory, and that by a birthing, period, nothing more nothing less.
You will not need freedom and happiness on the ressurection morning, you will not need it in a glorified body, you need it now.
That is what Paul fought for, that is the strictness of Paul's gospel to stay true to Christ in you. There is no other way, the only other way the Apostle said was a perversion of what he was saying about Christ being in you as your completion, the "another gospel" has you doing something to complete yourself. If there was something humanity could have done it would have taken place in the Old Testament, if there was something humanity could have done there would be no cross.
Human being have been trying to save themselves since time began, Adam and a fig leaf. So in these last days we live in God has turned up the pressure, things are heating up. Have you not noticed in your own life the pressure, the converging powers of the world are everywhere. With that, you are not the savior of the world, your world, it is Christ alive in you the hope of glory that is your salvation, glory to God.
