Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
so what's wrong with starting at the beginning about the beginning viz that "in the beginning,in an instant on each of 6X24hr days out of nothing God created everything very good[complete]"= no millions of years of evolution, including theistic evolution, necessary or possible - winc

I believe the second verse occurs long after the first verse. This is known as the gap theory to some.
God created the heaven and the earth in vs 1, and then the earth 'was' void in vs 2. There is no word
for 'was' in Hebrew, its better translated as 'had been', 'had become', or 'became' void and without form.
In other words, the earth created in Genesis 1:1 had long existed prior to God reforming it in Gen 1:2.
God does not created anything void or without purpose (Isaiah 45:18), the earth that existed in the
first verse of Genesis perished and became void (bohuw) empty and ruined. God then established it
anew and the rest of the chapter is describing the process.

Exodus 20:11 says that God created everything in 6 days and rested on the 7th day. We should never look at the world thru scientific glasses, but we should look at the world thru Biblical glasses. 1 Tim 6:20 talks about a false Science about to come--guess what, it's here. Evolution has zero credibility. Zero. There is absolutely no observational science that can confirm evolution. Which is why they had to come up with theoretical physics (science fiction).
We should never look at the world through science? What do you think the word science means, 'non-fact'?
True science will ALWAYS agree with God's Word, and visa versa. Problem is most don't understand the difference between 'true science' and 'pseudo-science'. Evolution theory is 'pseudo-science'. God's creation is 'true science'.
Just as there's false worship, the same kind of thing has been going on within the scientific community.
We would never say there's no such thing as 'true worship' would we?
do you actually believe that the sun and the moon exist within the firmament?
Gen 1 3-5 God said, Let there be light: and here was light. This was the first day.
Was this light supplied by the sun? The sun and moon were not set in place until the fourth day. We know that without the sun, the earth would be a frozen planet, not one of water, but ice.
Gen 1 6-8 And God separated the waters from above and below and the space in between was called
heaven.
The waters above must be the clouds (where our rain comes from). Does that mean that
“heaven”, our spiritual eternal domain, and dwelling place of God is the expanse between the surface
of the seas and the clouds in the sky? It is my belief that Moses’ description of the sun and the moon was inhibited by his primitive mortal knowledge of those bodies. The waters above can “only” exist within the earth’s atmosphere, not millions of miles above it where the sun exists. Only a short phrase was mentioned of the stars. Moses did not know the size, nor the distance from earth of them. To him and all others they were merely balls of light that appeared to be located in the heavens which he had already described as the firmament between the waters below and the waters above. His explanation to their origin could only be explained as a creation of god, with vauge details as to how or where.
Gen 1 26 And God said, Let “us” make man in “our” image, after “our” likeness
