Trained as a professional singer, Annie Meadows has a disarmingly genuine personality, something hard to find in today's entertainment business. But what makes Meadows unique is her story -- a story that for many years she found hard to share. (Originally published Oct. 31, 2003)More...

So what's the problem?

Huge segments of American Christians have NO PROBLEM with accepting the values and ideas presented by atheists(1), witches or those who've corrupted themselves and the gospel message with demonic ideas. The problem is that many Christians simply REFUSE to do their homework and to alter their personal ideology into compliance with orthodox traditional interpretations of the gospel. They LIKE their fantasies. They LOVE the devil's delusions!

Case in point is the ideology of the Rapture. The dogma is NOT BIBLICAL in that it was formulated by John Nelson Darby in the mid nineteenth century as part of his dissertation on history as a cluster of dispensations of divine grace. (Apparently the organization of the Bible into old and new testament wasn't good enough for him.) Darby's fantastic idea of a Star Trek style beam out in the face of tribulation became instantly popular. Darby's fan base included C.I. Scofield, who included scripture references in support of the heresy in his chain reference Bible. Every Christian who buys into the lie deliberately chooses to deny two things. The TRUTH spoken by Jesus in John 17:15(2) and the FACT that Mr. Darby was a known CONSORT OF WITCHES at the time.

So what's the problem?

Many Christians love to accept the lies of the devil. What's another one more or less?

and that's just me, hollering from the choir loft...

(1) Evolution is a theory in complete contradiction to the laws of logic as well as the tenants of the Bible. There are 3 versions of evolutionary biological theory, each of which prove the other two inconclusive. In addition, Darwinian theory has been extended to the development of history, politics, science, etc. none of which have been proven - yet many Christians accept it.

(2)
"My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one."
- Jesus as quoted in John 17:15

Which part of NOT is too hard to understand?

Would it be accurate to say that most TRUE born again Christians come to Christ by way of a major trial or upset??? That seems to be when you really feel his glory.....
