Ah, a different strain of COVID, not COVID-19. In that case, my daughter is recovering from COVID (the common cold variety). :)

Very much so.

And he is exactly in perfect timing to get the exact same strain again.
I've been saying this but people don't want to believe it.

The ONLY long term protection is going to come from one of the Vaccines.

This was covered in a video from a virologist I posted.

But @marks I'm sorry that you are going through this.
My son is sick now with this too so don't feel alone.

If you read all available info on the vaccines, it is yet to be established whether they will offer long-term immunity. Vaccines for other ailments such as measles are failing to offer the long-term immunity that doctors had once believed they did. Since COVID-19 is new, doctors won’t know FOR YEARS how long it will “protect” recipients, if at all. And God only knows how many people will have adverse reactions to the vaccines.
