Regarding what you wrote in post #16, citing Daniel 7, you had stated 1260 years as part of your rationale. However, the text of Daniel 7 does not have 1260 years in it. Plus, in text in Revelation, the only place in the bible that 1260 is found, it is 1260 days in the text (Revelation 11:3, Revelation 12:6).

So since your presentation is based on the wrong of assumption of 1260 years, the rationale of the Papacy being the Antichrist "system" is flawed.

In Daniel 7:25, the time unit is expressed as a time, times, half time. If you look at this table I made, it has all of the time frame expressions for the end times in the bible.

I am not going to go over all those passages, but Jesus will use fire as part of his judgment on the wicked. But not to destroy the world at His Second Coming.

Note that the two witnesses will destroy them who try to harm them with fire from their mouths.
