Have you considered that sin is the precursor to the second death?

When the second death is no longer applicable or needed, it will be cast into the Lake of fire along with the bottomless pit were all evil goes to await their time of punishment.

No, the First Death is cast into the Lake of Fire: This is the second death. -
So what you simply have is the death of Death, which is why Jesus said in Rev 21:4 There shall be no more death (no more first or second death), and then states in Rev 21:5 I make all things new.

No if there is going to be no more sin in the world, then the second death is no longer in play just as the bottomless pit is no longer in play, both of them are thrown into the lake of fire, which is not the second death, but it consumes the second death and the bottomless pit.

Makes one wonder 'how is death (an intangible) cast into the lake of fire?'
Any thoughts @Renniks ?
The declaration is equivalent to the statement in 1 Corinthians 15:26; "The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death." The idea is, that death, considered as the separation of soul and body, will exist no more. The righteous will live forever, and the unsaved will linger on in a state never to be terminated by death.
The second death differs from the first, in the fact that it is not a separation of the soul and body, but a state of continual agony.
In context we are talking about the condemnation, and the final death and ruin of those whose names are "not found written in the book of life".
It cannot be meant that all punishment will cease forever, and that all will be saved, because the writer goes on to describe what he calls "the second death" as still existing.
There is no evidence that John meant to affirm that the second death would imply an extinction of "existence." Death never does that; the word does not naturally and properly convey that idea. And it certainly doesn't mean the unsaved get to go to heaven, as if they would want to.

Death and Hades have been personified in the book of Revelation. So how are they cast into the Lake of Fire? They are cast in metaphorically.

When the Great White Throne Judgment takes place, all those unredeemed souls and spirits which were in Hades are resurrected (the resurrection of damnation), judged, and then cast into the Lake of Fire. At this point all death on earth is abolished. Therefore there is no need for Hades either. Hence Death and Hades are cast into the Lake of Fire at the same time.

Following this God establishes the New Heavens and the New Earth wherein dwelleth righteousness. Therefore death is abolished for ever. All those who belong in the Lake of Fire are banished to Outer Darkness. Therefore there is no more sin and evil on earth, and the perfect Kingdom of God remains on earth eternally.

Those that attempt to teach Outer Darkness, never teach Matthew 8:12 "The children of the kingdom shall be cast into Outer Darkness" - it's just a reference to Outer Court Christians, who dwell in the dense darkness of the carnal mind, outside the inner illumination of Jesus Christ.
The Outer Darkness is a spiritual condition, nothing 3rd dimensional or locational about it.
But in the end, "God shall be all in all" - I Cor 15:28.

You are welcome to your opinion. But according to Christ Outer Darkness is in fact a specific location for the Lake of Fire (Matthew 8:12;22:13;25:30). "The children of the kingdom" is a reference to unbelieving and unsaved Jews. The context shows the contrast between believing Gentiles and unbelieving Jews, who thought that they were the children of Abraham simply because of their ancestry. Jesus said that God could raise up children of Abraham out of stones, meaning that ancestry meant nothing.

The organic jews are not of the Kingdom, but you need to force that notion, because your damnation ideology blows up in your face, when considering the spiritual interpretation.

Don't need you to sanction the welcoming of my opinion, but fun to watch you attempt to condescend -
Your error is your third dimensional interpretation of 4th dimensional realities.
When Jesus spoke of Gehenna Fire (translated into Hell Fire from Norse paganism), he spoke 4th dimensionally, I've not seen anyone burning at the dump south of old Jerusalem.

You're trying to force a square peg into a triangular hole.

I love your verse from psalms. One of my favorites.

The worm dyeth not. The fire is never quenched. Now, is the fire literal or a metaphor? IDK. But I don't want to find out. Eternal regret might be worse than literal fire.

Zomborgs...from hell...

Maybe some kinda transhumanistic mark on those who so desire to live forever apart from the Spirit of Love.
