Jesus preached in Hell, many ways; and Jesus empowered Death, concerning the one truth (model behaviour?)

Hi there,

So when trying to grasp what Jesus did and how He did it, it is a little difficult to know where to start or to what extent. That's because after having descended from the Cross, and committed Himself to the grave, Jesus did something peculiar in Hell and created a work of Death. What Jesus did in Hell, was preach the Gospel. Not only that, but the Gospel to all who were in Hell with Him: that is, the Salvation Abraham wanted, Jesus preached; the Salvation that Moses wanted to focus on, Jesus preached; the Salvation that Daniel wanted to prophecy, Jesus preached. And so on and so forth, for all those who had entered Hell with a measure of faith. How is this possible? It is possible by the Holy Spirit!

But what gave the Holy Spirit strength? Jesus empowered Death; not according to many strengths or powers, but the one power according to the truth, that all death stemmed from the disobedience of one man, who in Hell had Salvation preached to him, that he be empowered in it - despite his death! This is the power of Jesus' healing, that the wound beneath Death was healed and Death no longer died at random, but rather was delayed, until all who had the Gospel preached to them might be gathered and delivered of the final Death. Is the power revenge? No! It is peace; from now on those who die will have peace about Death, that its sting might be forever delayed. That's what it means when the Bible says "Death where is your sting?" We are still waiting for it! We will be waiting for eternity!

Do these thing combine, into anything, under the power of the Devil? The Devil refused to hear Salvation, the Devil still fears Death won't be delayed enough. The Devil's destiny is the Lake of Fire, where he will realise, his only alternative is Christ. It is not lawful to utter what the Devil will utter in the Lake of Fire, but the Lord is strong enough to resist the temptation - we will need Him, even in Heaven! But how is it that the Devil did not come against the Lord when He was exiting the grave? The Devil didn't think that He would escape the grave! The Devil was sleeping on his watch! Now its too late, for the Devil, there is no way for him to get the Lord back in the grave - there is now no more remembrance of the sin the Lord paid for, in Heaven and the Lord is free throughout it!

The world will fall, the stars scattered, but the peace of our Lord will abide forever - let us have faith in this!

God bless.
