I do not think asking questions leads to atheism. Some are prone to turning from God when they cannot find answers to some things. But I, and there are many others as well I am sure, asking questions, and what I have still is answers to some things though not everything showing me God is there. There are things I can be pretty certain about with concern about God. Jesus was still showing much more what God is like, I find I can trust that, there is a lot to show about Jesus.

That's an interesting perspective, and by that I do not mean that it is wrong. But I see faith meaning something further, it is with trust that can be acted on. It would not be without evidence for basis, that would be unreasonable for anyone, but that faith is needed as we cannot see everything we might otherwise want to take into account. But God who we come to trust is great enough.
