Yes Jesus is God (God substance/essence/begotten/deity/offspring) of the Father. You're missing a big portion of what was said in my post. Jesus taught that He and His Father are one (John 10:30), meaning that He and His Father are of the same substance and the same essence. Focus on the words (substance) and (essence) here. I also want you to focus on these words too, (beget), (deity) and (offspring). When you beget something (especially of a male parent) it means to procreate or generate (offspring). When you beget something John 3:16 is not saying the Father is the offspring of the Father. That would just be silly. (John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.)
