Defund The Police?? NOT!!!

Seriously, I don't get why a lot of people want to do this. How is it going to solve anything? All it's going to do is wind up making things much, MUCH worse. So one officer screwed up,.. and although it was a tragedy that a man was murdered,.. why do people need to take it out on the police in general!? You want to know why a lot of black people get shot? It's shocking but it has absolutely nothing to do with color!! It's because black people do stupid things,.. so do white people and they can and have gotten shot for it as well. It seems as time goes by the human race is slowly losing their common sense. *Sigh* SMH.

Common sense has always been uncommon. I think it has to do with desiring social acceptance; people who don't know any better will make a stand with their peers.

If you can't determine the motivations for an action, look at the effect it will have and infer a motivation.

I don't agree with defunding the police, but I strongly believe in police reform. I believe the police are in dire need of a major reform from the bottom up. The police have an abhorrent public image and I think it's their own fault to a great extent. As a matter of fact, the behavior of some police officers is absolutely detestable and those rotten apples have ruined the bunch. As it's said, "One bad apple can spoil the barrel."

I don't think it is ever good to have a stagnant system in place. There should always be review, reform, streamlining and modernization. The poor public image is the result of media focus and lack of evidence.

Most of these seem to be drug related incidents, so maybe people should stop doing drugs. But that would mean taking personal responsibility which is against some people's religion.
