On a serious note: have only read a bit, but the narrative really speaks to me. When the churches are closed, there is only rcc left. I have rc family who are steadfast (more in family tradition than anything) I escaped, but indoctrination can be primary socialisation for many lost souls.
Yes, Ma'am. A form of brainwashing. The RCC is so established in their doctrines that there is no longer room for discussion in most cases, but this was not really the New Testament model. Open discussion in the churches led to believers thinking and seeking God for themselves, which the apostles always encouraged (Acts 7:11). But when believers are discouraged from doing so, especially children, their brain kinda goes dead, and their intellectual capacity starts to fall dormant. If all they are left to meditate on is their sins, "Christianity" becomes a very depressing religion indeed.
That would all depend on who you are : ) So many aliases running around this place that I never know who I'm talking to any more anyway, LoL.
Interesting input. I had thought of including more scriptural references in the narrative... there is very likely a place to fit that one in.

I think other "churches" will stay open, but only those that knuckle under to the State and refuse to speak the truth anymore.
Thank you for the encouragement. I have other long term projects, but this one is likely to keep coming back until it gets completed.
