Christians are terrified of the metaverse

I love it when they decide what we're afraid of without really asking what we're afraid of.

Vice seems more afraid of Metaverse than Christians, which should probably tell us something.

(Disclaimer: I don't use Facebook because I don't trust Facebook.)

This, seems to me like a VR version of Second Life, but with your friends.

Never see anyone in real life again, while you simultaneously gradually train your brain to no longer be attracted to normal living people, but instead promiscuous pink cartoon cat avatars.

That's what I think will happen.

You can review the history and technological evolving...
Kids play acting occasionally, Hollywood influence of actors who morph into real life freaks, the barrage of and addiction to “reality” shows, the internet fighting, bloody, killing branded as games “for kids” parents have been buying for years (for their kids) to sit for hours, unchecked becoming addicted, the funny apps to entirely change an individuals “look”....the conveniences of “social” media’s for individuals (and the addiction thereof)...the YEARS of propaganda 24-7 ... “Your look is horrid and must be changed...You can not be happy without drugs”... and the latest fear mongering of “distance”, “stay home” ... what is the next phase? A physical “thing” IN a persons Body 24-7 connected to and Monitored by a Machine? Pitched to the people....(its the future of Peace and Safety)...And what is the “current” phase? Microsoft & Facebook squabbling over who is going to be the owner, monitor, dictator, controller over the machines that control people?
The technology is already developed, the patents of machine and “thing” connection for IN a persons body already “filed” and “granted” TO the patent the owner...
It’s simply a matter of “WHO” an individual is willing to “PAY” to Control them.

Christians Terrified of metaverse? <—- That is simply an OLD TACTIC, of a new challenge. WHO has been on the outskirts of the latest Inject into peoples Body’s questionable unknown substances? Primarily Christians. HOW to challenge a person? Say they are Afraid. WHAT to hope for BY the challenge? That THEY, Step up and say, sign me up, SEE, I’m not afraid!!! WHAT is the Foolish thing TO DO? Step up, open your wallet, PAY, and say sign me up, SEE, I’m not afraid... WHAT is the Smart thing to do when a cunning, clever, wicked, trickster challenges you? IGNORE them.

I do believe, HE DOES CREATE...of, through, by...ie. the WHOLE of Him.

Word = THROUGH Lord

Purpose OF His Creation? His Pleasure.
Intent for His Pleasure? Something TO Love.
Hope for Giving His Love? Love freely reciprocated.

In the Big Picture, Really very Simple.
In the Big Picture, His Creations (called man-KIND of thing)...called GOOD.
Were Created with the VERY SAME “Likeness” AS GOD...
People innately desire pleasure...through Giving and Receiving Love.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN the Likeness of God and People.

Nonetheless, all that God has created is only perfect as God is perfect, which is spirit. Meaning that the garden of His creation, is not as we see the world in all its form, but spiritual also. For the elements of this world are destine to be dissolved with fervent heat and with fire.

But which is greater, the Potter or the clay? The Potter is spirit, and so is all that He has created, before the fall of mankind. The world is something completely different.

The world rather, is a mere image of two things, serving two purposes:

1. It is a [corrupted] "image", a mere foreshadowing of that which is real in God.
2. And it is the revelation of God's justice, and goodness, and His Mercy through salvation, by bringing everything good and evil into the light. Then comes the end.

I had a theory regarding propaganda and the media last night and looked into it to see if my theory was actually possible. I'm not going to talk about it online, but it relates to what you're saying.

There was a Christian movie that I watched last night a part of called The Mark - Rumors of Wars, not very good and seemed like an action movie. Turned it off.

But one thing stuck out to me when a Christian man said, "If you go out there with them you will be brainwashed." (Into not believing)

My conclusion came down to we should be careful, remember to think for ourselves by Godly wisdom, and be more careful about putting our trust in God rather than men.

What is ... created and made God called “very good”. (NOT PERFECT), but a foreshadowing of Perfection.
Man fell from “very good”. And so also did the earth.
Corruption of men, Corruption of the earth... every man can see.

In the midst of the Corruption of earth...In the midst of the earth quaking, the thunder speaking, the ocean waves overtaking the lands, the winds uprooting trees, the clouds unleashing its water, the sky’s even during the day darkened without light, the fowls in hiding.

The Promise manifestation... to be “Made” “PERFECT” IN ones own self, and forever “WITH” Him, whose “works” have “MADE” man, soul restored, spirit quickened and body already “accounted” (Gods Books of Evidence) anew.

The whole circle complete...created and made very good, fall / corrupt, offered, good, quickened, a new.
Applies to every man. Hearing, Seeing glimpses, Tasting, Freely Choosing to Eat Gods Offering... or Taste and spit it out.

I had a theory regarding propaganda and the media last night and looked into it to see if my theory was actually possible. I'm not going to talk about it online, but it relates to what you're saying.

There was a Christian movie that I watched last night a part of called The Mark - Rumors of Wars, not very good and seemed like an action movie. Turned it off.

Lol. I play animal crossing and Zelda and stuff. It's just a relaxing thing before bed.

Just ordered a 3ds XL, my old ds is pretty worn out lolz, I think like 2 or 3 Mario games is coming with it, I forgot and 2 other games.

Yep adults still play video games, they still make new games from a lot of the classic video game franchises that started all the way back in the 80s and 90s like Donkey Kong, Mario, Zelda, Megaman, Sonic, Kirby, etc and even Crash Bandicoot just got revived. These games fetch players from multiple generations.

Just ordered a 3ds XL, my old ds is pretty worn out lolz, I think like 2 or 3 Mario games is coming with it, I forgot and 2 other games.

Yep adults still play video games, they still make new games from a lot of the classic video game franchises that started all the way back in the 80s and 90s like Donkey Kong, Mario, Zelda, Megaman, Sonic, Kirby, etc and even Crash Bandicoot just got revived. These games fetch players from multiple generations.

I used to play all the time but it seemed like I felt like I was wasting my time. And my patience for the games started to fade.

I played all of these within the last month. Besides Sonic and Crash.

Also Mario Kart and Street Fighter II. Not big on Street Fighter- I am that person who says "I can't play that character. They look evil."

I use Snes9x emulator.

It is an excellent stress reducer and the kids have a blast.
