17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, - Luke 15:17-18.

While on the subject..it may be a good time to look at the prodigal son. What he learned in the hog pen was it was better to be a son, than be a great do-er. What might have seemed like a good idea to leave the father's house - to do things..turned out to be a bad decision. Matter of fact it was the worse decision of his life. Now it works out but when you're stuck in a hog pen eating husks with the swine, you do not look at it like that. But what happened was; the prodigal son learned it was better to be a son than anything else. I use a little term in my private life called 'you can't out-do the father.' What I mean by that is you live your life.. whatever you do.. whatever that may be, whatever you may feel lead..and you will know if you get away from the father's house. It is your father that will let you know. He may use a hog pen..the world..any number of things to correct a child..but point is you will know. If you don't - your allowing yourself to be neglected, mistreated, abused - and not the proper attention from a father you will need as a child.

When the prodigal came to himself..and said.. surely it would be better to be a servant in my Father's house, than a great do-er of things. It was not until the father's schoolhouse worked on the son, the son came to himself..talked to himself saying 'if I could only get back to my father's house.' What was in the father's house - the father! It was his father he wanted more than his necessary food - it was his father he wanted more than anything.
