I have been stuck on this particular idea of God having a plan and purpose, a reason for creation. The reason men and women live and breathe. I have seen through the years how that idea has been lost in religion. Religion in it's own right at one time would at least mix in some gospel with they're notion of who God is and what he is doing, and what is finished at the cross. That has been put away in view of making people comfortable and feel like they have connections, programs, and the glamour of religion - pageantry.
Working and doing for God is a very subtle distraction that can lead to total bondage. Most that suffer it's wrath will need delivered out of the situation. Most do not jump and run because they believe it. A big mistake made is thinking 'that could never happen to me.' We all watch the same media's - it happens every day. With Satan as it's progenitor it does not come off as evil..but as a good thing to do. We deal with a different foe - he does not play fair.. by the rules so to say.
Every religion has it's own agenda and that agenda is not the teaching and preaching of what is written and the unadulterated word of God. That is how religion works - by an agenda.. program's and doing.
Doing is the biggest distraction that will ever come to you. Why is that? The mind - the mind has already had it's thing in the world in dealing with the nature we were born with - and now we are told to be a good Christian we must do something for God. Real condemnation is..he did something for you - you should do something for him. Most people in the world go through severe, what we call Satan abuse. Because that is what it is. I know we pass the buck to; this situation and that circumstance..this person and that person did this. But the bottom line it all comes out of the sin that is in the world. The sin Jesus took away from the world was crucified in Christ! Only. For that sin (sin nature) to leave a person they must be in Christ. Sins are different - we still sin because of the mind..but the sin nature (spirit) is crucified in Christ. Sin of the world is - the sin nature. Dead in Christ - crucified! Thank God.
People's emotions run wild and they have been through bad relationships and just about everything you can endure in the world - and then you get saved. Now wait ..we are being told and thinking 'ok everything is going to be ok now I'm on track you feel' - and you get in some form of religion. Attempting to please God - and they teach and encourage that and it sounds good because you may have never pleased anyone and you might even be a man pleaser. Snagged.. caught in the throws of what will make the world look like a cake walk. When we say 'religion is the greatest evil heaped on mankind,' that's what we are talking - pure evil. It manipulates and cannot tell the truth and leads it's listeners into trouble!
By being a great do-er of things for God..most move on to see and be who they are, and realize the lie. So doing will be a great negative for you that can be turned to a positive. Seems they are the hungry..they are the one's that have suffered like none other. Hardships and seeking and giving God glory and holding on. They quote Job - and keep their hand to the plow, waiting on the Lord - they become the 'be-ers.' No longer doing things to be who they are. You do from who you are - not to be who you are! Anything apart from be-ers, is a believer acting out who they think they are - very subtle. Not much different than what Hollywood does.
