The dome of the rock mosque has writings on it's walls that bless Jesus and Mary/Joseph.They see Jesus as a prophet, not a Messiah.

Yes. The Muslim religion stole many of the key characters (and then changed them dramatically) in their belief system, from Christians and Jews. It was created around 627 BC (that's years after Christ's coming). They believe in a person named Jesus, and they believe that He was a prophet.
