Do we need God to be moral? As in can we live a moral life and be an unbeliever?
I think people can live a basically moral life if they choose to. I have known a few.
However, God deals with the inside of us.- our hearts. The external is only one part of us.
Is morality important? Yes, of course.
YES....
We, the human race, absolutely need God's laws to understand what is truly good.
Utopian societies have been tried over and over and failed over and over. Philadelphia was a utopian society a long time ago.....it obviously has not worked out....almost as it still exists as a city. There have been societies that have completely evaporated.
Just like most of the Westernized societies are currently evaporating due to greed and birth control which has led to promiscuity.
South Korea is not going to exist soon....their population age demographics looks like an inverted trapezoid and in 25 years will not exist anymore. North Korea might be able to invade IF they actually had the manpower to do so....but they don't either. Same with China. They are trying to reverse their "one Child" policy but that's not working either.
The USA's is not much better....but some. We have a 1.7 live birth rate for each woman. Immigration helps this....but it can't cure it all as our ideological identity is being eroded by those who i.migrate in but do not assimilate into American ideals.
Places like Pakistan and India where you are required to marry your first cousin are the only places that are still seeing population growth. And Africa where there is no such thing as sexual immorality between men and women and AIDS is rampant.
We do better when we recognize our need for our communities and protect our neighbors without claiming "it's someone else's job".
Federal Good Samaritan Laws are needed....not having Good Samaritans harassed and victimized in the press or by self serving politicians.

Just an FYI that was interesting to me, the term "Good Samaritan", does not display morality, it was given to the Samaritan which was deemed at that time "a person of low caliber" and hated by the Jews, which if you were a moral person, that ideology of another human being would not be part of your character. The Samaritan had the good moral character to assist the man who had been robbed and left for dead, and cared for him until he recovered. The priest and the Levite passed him up because they had to get to temple, and didn't have time , and if he was bleeding did not want to make themselves unclean.
Federal Laws? hmm, we would fail at keeping, just as man failed at keeping the original law. We need Jesus to be truly moral, so that our hearts will be merciful to others

America already is filled with foreigners, you can't discover a land, that is already inhabited, you can only become aware of it's existence, ones forget no try to blot out that part of HISTORY, because of the thievery behind it , however the truth never fails. I did not vote for that creation, but I'm thankful that God saw fit to place him in an office that will allow ones to see that the only thing that can help them is God/Yahweh, this country needs to turn their worship to God, and stop idolizing the creation.

Countries are defined by borders, and they are maintained by Laws.
If you break the law, you are a criminal.
If you come to the USA illegally, you are a criminal, because you broke the law.
People who want criminals (lllegals) (law breakers) to invade the USA, and then be given "rights", as if they are a civilian, really are not thinking deeply.
Don't "strawman" your reply, what respect for borders were in place when illegal immigrants took over the indigenous people of this land. No Morals in place in their hearts

So, your argument is that because Indians were sent to reservations, 150 yrs ago..........the current USA Constituation, and the Bill of Rights, and the rule of Law that Govern the United States, is now invalid, and Illegals should be allowed to invade the USA, while its citizens whose grandparents were born in the USA...must pay for their health care, food, education, and housing.
You are believing that mostly Euro Heritage Americans who are 150 yrs removed from "native americans".... are now to be punished and need to accpet their punishment by allowing anything that can cross the border, to come and take over the USA.
Your thinking is flawed., so that is why your POV is proving it..

two key words "Social Justice" biblical justice is rooted in God's character and a divine perspective, emphasizing ones relationship with God, and others. We only ask that they obey our laws and come here legally. God requires obeying the laws of the land.-
