Ahhhhhhh

I was writing to you as you were to this...LOL
You speak Gods truth and no one can take it from you..

Keep speaking it out...

Those who are still carnal in their own mindset , wouldn’t understand what you are saying here.

I understand what you say because you are speaking it out in the Spirit, which another Born Again recognises...all in my opinion.

"Goldmining" - LOL
That's a VERY interesting autofill error.
Unless it was intended?

You know what.

I see it and it is attributed to me but for certain I said Goodmorning and not Goldmining.

Tis not the only time this has happened to me... I usually see them when someone quotes me and then I edit the original.......

Do you talk to the Holy Spirit?

I have heard some believers talk about this in the past.
I have never practiced it myself.

I'm on speaking terms with God. For some reason it seems to be God the Father.
But other than a written prophecy, I have no other reason to believe that.
Except for verses about adoption and God being a father to the fatherless that seem to stand out.

When I talk to someone that God tells me to talk to, I believe the Holy Spirit is speaking through me.
Or at least inspiring my words and insights in the situation.

You, I believe, are 1001% correct.

There have been times that I will start a thread or reply to a post and ideas or words just pop into my head
and I type them out.

By the end people will either like or approve what I say or will jump all over me. I no longer care because I came
to the conclusion that a lot of what I wrote was not from me. A lot of the words I was prompted to use ( needing to double check meaning before I did) were not mine that I would use in everyday conversations.

I grew to accept it had to be from God.... and now believe it was by way of the Holy Spirit.

The most ironic of everything are the times I see an old post of mine on a subject and simply will ask myself how I knew that... or that does not sound like me.

It is a fabulously wonderful way to live.

Thank you, Holy Spirit

And when I pray in tongues,
or sing in the Spirit, which is a manifestation of the Holy Spirit.

I haven't read any of your posted articles yet.

They are quick reads and definite food for thought.
Do you have a personal testimony of what talking to the Holy Spirit is like?
Is there a benefit for you?

Matthew 10:19-20 NIV
But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it.
At that time you will be given what to say,
20 for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.

Romans 8:26-27 NIV
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness.
We do not know what we ought to pray for,
but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.
27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit,
because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

There have been times that I will start a thread or reply to a post and ideas or words just pop into my head

I'm reminded of scriptures quite often on the forum.
Sometimes I feel led to write a prayer for someone. Those are usually divinely inspired.

Here's a testimony you might enjoy.

I was on another forum years ago where a man was having a rant which ended in an absolute fit by writing this:
"... consult with your Holy Spirit and get back to me!" Yikes! It was a real scorcher of a post.
Had to wear oven mitts to read it. - LOL

I was still reading when I heard very clearly, "Answer him." Say what? "Er... what should I say?"
No reply, as usual. - LOL

I hit REPLY and took a deep breath and just started typing.
Words were going into the post with little thinking effort from me.
I reviewed what I had written and fixed the obvious spelling errors.
Marveling at what I had written, but a bit uncomfortable. I hit SEND.

I had asked him to flip open a Bible and point randomly to a verse that would speak to him.
Under normal circumstances I don't recommend doing that. But... whatever. ???

The next day I heard back from the guy. He was a completely different person.
Something had changed. He told me that he had in fact randomly opened the Bible and pointed to a verse.
The verse is pasted below.

When he read "before the silver cord is severed" he was overcome with God's presence.
The post I had delivered spoke to the pain he was experiencing. Which I had no knowledge of.

He shared that he had lost a child and his wife in childbirth. He was angry and bitter.
The "silver cord" had reminded him of the umbilical cord "severed" at birth.

He pressed me to tell him the color of his wife's hair.
I said that would be an abuse of the gift, but for some reason I was seeing red hair in my mind's eye.
BINGO. Red hair.

Ecclesiastes 12:6 NIV
Remember him—before the silver cord is severed,
and the golden bowl is broken;
before the pitcher is shattered at the spring,
and the wheel broken at the well,

LOL... Do you ever want to sent the Holy Spirit to the store so you could say what you really want to.

It has to be Asus' fault. I had to get 2 new laptops last year and went for something not made in China.
Wait a minute... This is getting freaky. My first line I did not write sent. I am going to duplicate this one just to see.

If not, why not?
And why wouldn't someone do that, is because church-ianity has visibly and foolishly demonstrated that we are to "look up" to heaven when we pray, erroneously leading us to subconsciously think that God and His Kingdom is NOT within us.

Personally, to combat that deceiving imagery, I have taken the words of Jesus in Mat. 10:30, by viewing it from the perspective that reveals the truth of how God actually sees us.
[30] But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
So the question is: from where and how is God looking at the hairs of my head, whereby God knows at all times, every second of how many hairs are in my head?

If you ARE a born again Christian, there is only one correct answer.
He is counting the hairs on our head FROM WITHIN.

Colossians 2:13-14
You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. He cancelled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. NLT
