Some people seem to think we should follow Donald Trump, as if he were God. I think Donald was an excellent president but he isn't God.

I liked Trump's policies. Trump was good for poor and middle-class Americans, unlike the current regime, which has decimated their standard of living.

I think Donald was a great president, but I think it's terribly important we get a Republican into the White House in 2024, and I think Donald will have trouble winning a general election.

I agree. It's unfortunate that Trump isn't supporting DeSantis.
And yet if Trump isn't your first pick, some people start calling you names (such as RINO and liberal).

DeSantis is wise not to hitch his brand to Trump, who has gone off the deep end.
Trump supporters hate Mike Pence because he certified the 2020 presidential election. The Constitution of the United States gave Mike no other choice, unless you think Trump was above the Constitution.
I don't think it's that they see him as a God, it's seems to be more of a bonding in his approach to politics. He resonates with the common person.

Trump is in the top five presidents that have ever lived, De Santis is a kid wet behind the ears, Trump endorsed and campaigned for him and put him in office

DeSantis is a great governor and an even better human being. I believe DeSantis is a better candidate and that he would be an outstanding president and doesn't have Trump's mountain of baggage.
I would like to see a good Republican candidate. And not Trump. He'll just steal votes and lose. Him running would put the dems back in power. Arrrggghhhh!
