I feel moved to say that this dream is about an army knowing the voice of its commander - if the soldiers do not hear the commander's voice, they attack as though standing (position/strength) is the determination of who is the enemy, not faith in who the enemy will become (which we all were).
For example, take the anti-Christ, the Bible teaches both to beware anti-christs and to serve masters; but many in the faith can't wait to call the anti-Christ out and live in dread that they will have no power over him, when he comes. These are believers who do not have the patience of the Holy Spirit and the confidence of the Holy Spirit to anticipate his (the anti-christ's) fall. I'm not saying they're wrong - that's not my place - I am saying they are 'vulnerable'.
A true soldier of the faith, knows his own vulnerability before he knows his enemy's weakness (selah)

The enemy has tried to kill you.
He can not.
He has tried over and over and over and over and over to kill you.
He hates you.
You see where God has brought you out of every attack.
You have been victorious in every one of them
You are in a posture of submission and surrender to your God.
As Saul pursued David, the "christian brethren" are jealous of your anointing.
That is what scared Saul.
That is what scares false brethren.
Final quest by Rick Joyner has an opening scene similar to your dream.
As you advance in your walk with God, you will see the unwarranted hatred of "brethren" take place.
They don't know why they hate you. They just do.
The real enemy is not them.
They are influenced by the enemy
They are, in my opinion saved brothers, but carnal and nowhere near intimacy with God.

Saul = false leadership. ( jealousy of others with more anointing)....and wants death upon those with more anointing.
David is "true leasership". ( wants to raise up a Solomon that is into a greater anointing)
This goes into COMPETITION.
Competition in a ministry will lead into a bad place.
