There will be a total eclipse of the moon on the evening of March 3/4, 2007 that will be visible in Europe, Africa and the eastern through mid-west United States and North America. The eclipse will be seen in its entirety in Europe and Africa. The moon will rise in the eastern U.S. with the eclipse already underway. The total eclipse runs from 5:44 to 6:58 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on the evening of March 3, as seen from the United States.This eclipse is very similar to the Blood Red Passover Eclipse as seen from Jerusalem and as a dark eclipse from the eastern through Midwestern U.S. on April 3/4, 1997.
