The devil, The beast, The false prophet is that which is in torments in the Lake of Fire Forever and Ever.....Not men.
A mans Body and Soul that is thrown in the lake of fire Is not Tormented Forever and ever...it has No LIFE in it.

Before we came to Christ, we were dead in trespasses and sins.
But we were alive physically.

Ecclesiastes 9:3-6 KJV
[3] This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event unto all: yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead. [4] For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion. [5] For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. [6] Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun.

It is the burning /consuming with Fire of all things Dead and Hell.
And Ending of all life ever again being Subject To Death.
Rev 20:
[14] And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Rev.21
[8] But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Sorry, I meant the opposite (must have had a brain f
rt).I meant to say that you believe it is merely a parable to your own peril.
It is very much like when we are dead in trespasses and sins but are alive physically (conscious).
Conscious death has to do with everlasting punishment...eternal conscious torment in the lake of fire.
