Encouraging verses

Philippians 3:13-14 was my favorite verse for years. Someone mentioned in her testimony how she didn't want to forget her past, because she wanted to use it to help others with their futures. Inspiring statement. But started thinking of these verses and thought, well, the good news is we do not have to live in condemnation or fear of the past in Christ Jesus.

@Mayflower: Excellent thought, yes. Earlier we were thinking of 1 Samuel 7.12: Ebenezer...'Hitherto hath the LORD helped us.' In other words, the believer can look back at how the Lord has led and helped, and within the sense hitherto - up to now - may be the implied trusting expectation that He Who has indeed helped will continue to help right until our journey is done. :)

You got me. Philippians is my favorite NT book. (Esther is my OT) :)

I cant seem to find a favorite . its all good my dear sister . Keep on posting the scrips my dear sister .
They are so needed in these days . For we have many who do teach many things contrary to the scrips .
Let us learn them and keep by the Holy Ghost , stirring one another up and exhorting daily with all those wonderful reminders .
Let the LORD be praised my dear sister . JESUS is our HOPE . Our salvation , our redeemer , our strength . PRAISE THE KING .

Yeah , let us never look back my dear sister . I was the worst of the worst . OH but praise GOD for His life saving and life changing grace .
Given us in JESUS CHRIST . Let all that has breath leap up and praise the glorious wonderous Lord .

I see our dear sister in the uk dropped us a gem . Let us continue feasting on the truth within the GOD INSPIRED Holy Bible .
ANd let all be on gaurd and diligent in our walk . Having all hope and all affections above on Him .
Casting aside the sin which does so easily beset , surround , us . Run the race with all hope on the prize . The Glorious high calling
of JESUS CHRIST . Keep focused on the hope , the grace that is to be revealed unto His lambs on His day .
Let the LORD be praised . Eternal life is a gift , AND ONE that is truly found ONLY IN JESUS CHRIST .
Let no man beguile you with twisted words that speak contrary to the gospel . FOR THERE IS NO OTHER NAME
that we must confess and believe in to be saved . JESUS ALONE . Now let all that has breath praise Him .
And may all reread romans ten . Ye must believe from the heart that GOD has rose Him from the dead
and Confess HIM by mouth to be saved . For with the heart man believes unto Righteousness and by
mouth confession unto SALVATION . Let no man trick us into thinking that muslims and other religoins worship the same GOD we do .
John was clear . YE MUST BELIEVE THE WITNESS AND TESTIMONY THAT GOD HAS GIVEN OF CHRIST . Anything less , makes folks
calling GOD a liar . ANd the truth is not them . HE who HEARS US is OF GOD . HE who does not hear us , IS NOT OF GOD .
ALl else is sinkin sand of a false hope and a false love . POINT the people to CHRIST and learn those bibles well .
