Eph 2: 4But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, Even when we [ the chosen of eph 1:4] were dead in sin, that is as unbelievers, enemies by nature in our minds by wicked works, even at that time [present tense] God hath [ past tense aorist] this pertains to His whole body [The church and its members], God hath quickened us together with Jesus Christ [ when He was quickened from the dead] see [ isa 26:19] And Made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ. This occurred historically to all the election of grace, when Christ died and rose again, so this means that, even before the chosen ones have actual physical being, before being born sinners by nature, this raising together and being seated with Christ has already occurred. It is now in Gods time that each elect member will receive of this resurrected life, in Gods own time..This life is Hid in Christ with God see col 3:3.. each elect person will be born from above, where they are in Christ already seated with Him.. This is why its ensured that they will come into a experiential knowledge of this most blessed and heavenly reality..
